Every Picture Tells A Story - Graphic Storytelling
When I decided to take some of my illustrations from my children's books and develop note cards I decided to leave the inside blank.
Each illustration on the card tells its own story ideal for kids storytelling by their parents. Whether it is the cairn terrier, Toots, romping in an adventure, a chicken parading, a frog hopping or a farm animal in a pasture, each card allows the sender to tell a story.
Each card can be used for a number of audio storytelling occasions. Let me give you an example. I have three frog illustrations. One has a frog sitting back with its tongue grabbing a dragonfly from mid air. Well as a sender, I could send the card to say hello to a friend; I could use it to wish a happy birthday or I could send it as a get well card.
One card offers three different uses.
Sending a card also adds a personal touch. Instead of sending an email through cyber space, you take the time to write a note and mail it from the post office. It makes the person feel special. It makes a connection in how it tells its story.
